Brenda Jane Hoose, born on September 25,1955 in Edinburgh Scotland to Thomas and Mary McGuire has gone home to Heaven this day June 15, 2018.
Brenda graduated from Newfield Central School in 1973 and later worked at the family business, McGuire Gardens as well as with her sister, Karen at Cornell Campus Flower Market. She enjoyed reading, fishing, her many pets and loved the company of her extended family with many picnics on McGuire Mountain.
Brenda also loved her husband, William Hoose whom she married on October 12, 1996, spending many happy years together.
Brenda leaves behind her husband, Bill Hoose, sister , Karen (Jerry) Van Etten, nephews, Weston McGuire (Makenzie King) and Scott Van Etten, many aunts, uncles and cousins and friends in New York State, Owings Mills, Maryland and Edinburgh, Scotland. Brenda was predeceased by her parents, Tom and Mary McGuire, Grandparents Ken and Laura McGuire and grandmother, Jane Hunter Docherty.
Calling Hours will be at Bangs Funeral Home, Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from noon til 1 p.m with the service immediately following. Pastor Mike Kelly presiding.
