Howe, Bojana "Bonnie"Ithaca: Bojana "Bonnie" Howe, of Ithaca, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Thursday, October 24th, at the Cayuga Medical Center. She was born in Slovenia and immigrated to the United States in 1958 with her parents. She graduated from Ithaca High School in 1964 and The Franklin Institute of Technology in 1967 with a medical lab technology degree. Bojana devoted the later portion of her life to spending time with her children and grandchildren playing games and gardening. Bojana is survived by her husband, Roderick Howe; three children, Roderick (Melinda) Howe, Mark (Elizabeth) Howe, and Amanda (Shawn) French; and eight grandchildren, Mathew, Alexandria, David, Blake, Isabella, Julia, Peyton and Karsten. She was an integral part of her family's life and her kindness and generosity will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at Immaculate Conception Church at 10:00 a.m. October 29th. Interment will be immediately afterward in the Calvary Cemetery, Ithaca, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mecklenburg Vol. Fire Dept.
