Billie K. Drake, 63, of Hornell, NY passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020 after a long battle with an extended illness at Cortland Rehabilitation Center. She was born on January 17, 1957 in Hornell, NY to the late Fred and Laura Drake. Billie was predeceased by her brothers, Robert, Doug Drake and her sister, Karla Drake. She is survived by her forever grateful son, Cole Brown; sister, Sherry Drake; nieces, Laura, Erica, Courtney Drake; nephew Connor Drake; grandniece, Kadience; grandnephews, Austyns, Gavin, and Sj.
Billie was an Air Force veteran with an honorable discharge. She then went on to run a small business as a stenographer for many years. She was a passionate carpenter who loved animals and children. All services will be held privately at the convenience of her family. Her family would like to thank the dedicated nurses at the Cortland Rehabilitation Center for their hard work and kindness. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bangs Funeral Home.
