Anthony Lucatelli

Anthony Lucatelli, 65, of Ithaca, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025, listening to his favorite music and surrounded by his loving family. Tony was born on October 3, 1959, to Giuliano and Yolanda Lucatelli.

Tony worked for the family businesses Italian Carry Out and Lucatelli’s. Anthony went by many names Toad, Tiger, and his personal favorite Grampy. He was known for his humor and many friends since childhood. He had a great love for animals. Anthony enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking, music, movies and most of all his family.

Anthony is survived by his daughter: Angelina (Sunny); granddaughters: Nora, and Lia; brother Giuliano (Sharon); sisters: Gina and Rita; nephews: Carmen (Michelle), Mario; niece: Abby (Donaciano “DJ”), Antonio and Giuliana. And his dogs: Bluto, and Buddy. In addition to his parents Anthony was predeceased by his Uncle Frank Carbone, and Carmen Ciaschi who was like a brother to him.

A mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church on Wednesday January 29, at 10AM. Anthony will be laid to rest with his parents in the Queen of Peace Mausoleum. A reception to follow at Mix Restaurant.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in Anthony’s memory can be made to St. Jude, and the SPCA of Tompkins County.
