Ann Kelly Wheeler

Ann Kelly Wheeler, 91, of Columbia St., died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the Beechtree Care Center. She was born in Jersey City, NJ, daughter of the late Michael and Catherine Rellis Kelly and was the widow of Raymond "Ike" Wheeler who died in 2006.
Ann was retired from Cornell Cooperative Extension where she had worked for 29 years and had previously worked at G.L.F. She was a long time communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church.
Ann is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathie and Larry Beckwith; her grandsons, Ray (Vicki) Whittaker, Rich (Jaime) Whittaker and Chris Whittaker; her great grandchildren, Violet Raye Whittaker, Aurora Leigh Whittaker and Alyah Jade Whittaker and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her sisters, Catherine and Mary and brothers, Peter and John.
Funeral services will be celebrated by Fr. Jeffrey Tunnicliff on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Bangs Funeral Home. Friends may call prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Donations in Ann's memory may be made to the Immaculate Conception Church, 113 N. Geneva St., Ithaca, NY 14850.
