Ann K. Jordan , 83, of Ithaca, passed away at her home on August 18, 2014. She now has been reunited with her beloved husband of 50 years , Larry Jordan Jr.
Ann was born in Ithaca to Martin and Susan Hradisky on April 3, 1931.She attended Immaculate Conception School and graduated from Ithaca High School in 1949. After graduation, she married and started a family. Being a mother was one of the most important roles to Ann. She was always there for her children as well as others who needed a hand. Her grandchildren and great grand children brought her great joy. Ann was creative, caring and she was always generous with the sharing of her talents. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed baking and working in her flower gardens. These activities and spending time with her family provided lots of happiness for her.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Susan; her four brothers Martin, Joseph, John and Stephen Hradisky; her sister Mary Golway; daughter-in-law Kathey Jordan, and her beloved husband Lawrence C. Jordan, Jr.
Ann is survived by her son Larry Jordan(Ithaca, NY) and daughters Cheryl Jordan (Corning, NY), Terri Jordan (Ithaca, NY), Patricia Verdine(Gary, Newark, NY) and Denise Percey (Todd, Trumansburg, NY) , six grandchildren: Derek Jordan and Julie Walsh, Kyle and Kaitlyn Percey, and Anna and Kathryn Verdine and five great grandchildren: Grace, Derek, and Molly Jordan, and Damian and Jillian Walsh and her nieces, Susan Shea and Colleen Solomon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Church at 10:00 on Friday, August, 22. Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to the CNY Alzheimer's Assoc., 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204-1305 or to a charity of your choice in Ann's memory.
