Amelia M. Longo died on Monday, April 13,
2015 at Collingswood Nursing Home in Rockville,
MD. after a long illness. She was born in Ithaca on
July 18, 1920, daughter of the
late Bruno and Isabella Ferrara Longo.
Amelia was an active member of Immaculate
Conception Church and an avid photographer in
the Ithaca area. She is predeceased by her sisters,
Sally Prudence and Rose Ocello and brothers Rocco,
Anthony and Joseph. She is survived by her sister,
Carmen Jackson of Gaithersburg MD and several nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services for the family will take place
at Calvary Cemetery on July 18, 2015. Rev. Jeffrey
Tunnicliff, Pastor of Immaculate Conception Church
will officiate. Bangs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
