Alicia Mavis Barrett Febo

Alicia Mavis Barrett Febo, 59, of Enfield Main Rd., passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 at the Hospicare Residence. She was born in Brooklyn, daughter of the late John and Blanche Mavis Barrett.

Alicia was a graduate of the TC3 Nursing Program and had worked as a nurse manager and registered nurse at Kendal at Ithaca. She was a loving, caring mom who reached out to everyone around her; friends, family and troubled youth.

Alicia is survived by her children, Victoria Febo and Christopher Febo and her sister, Paula Feria. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her former husband, Marcelino Febo.

A celebration of Alicia's life will be held on Friday, August 22nd at 3 p.m. at the Bangs Funeral Home. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at a reception at the Enfield Valley Grange, 178 Enfield Main Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alicia's name may be directed to the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes, www.crcfl.net or to Big Brothers Big Sisters, www.bbbsithaca.org .
