Adorno Stazi, 83, of Ithaca, died Wednesday March 1, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. Adorno was born and raised in Anagni, Italy and later moved to Maracaibo, Venezuela where he worked as an electrician for the Oil Fields. He met his wife while visiting family in the US and became a long time resident of Ithaca, where he worked at Borg Warner Automotive for 36 years as a machinist.
He enjoyed watching soccer, gardening and spending time with his family. he was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed. He was Pre-deceased by his parents Mario and Assunta (Fontana) Stazi. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Yolanda (Fratarcangeli)Stazi, his children: Nancy Dombrowski (John) of Hamilton NJ, Mike Stazi (Mary) of Ithaca, NY and Lou Stazi (Rebecca) of South Burlington, VT and his 4 grandchildren: Kyle, Eric, Giovanni and Marco
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Church with Fr. Augustine Chumo officiating. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Adorno's memory may be made to the Immaculate Conception School 320 West Buffalo St. Ithaca, NY 14850. There are no calling hours.
