Sean B. Norman

January 26, 1975 — May 24, 2021

Sean(46) after living most of his life in Newfield died May 24, 2021 following a brief illness.

He leaves behind his mother, Suzanne Walker; his daughter, Annabelle and her mother, Maria Norman; his brother, Matthew Walker (Rachel and special nieces, Addi and Isla); half-sister Megan Carson and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Terrance Norman and step-father Richard Walker.

Annabelle was the miracle and love of his life and was never far from her Dada. He was employed by Greater Ithaca Activities Center where he found a second family. This summer he was looking forward to the Christmas season where he was planning and working on an even more elaborate light display for his house, attending games of his beloved team, the Yankees, umpiring softball games and of course spending time with Annabelle at Grandma’s pool.

He will be remembered for his love of family and life, his infectious laugh, his sense of humor (“that’s sarcasm Annabelle”), his love of a good discussion, and his multiple friendships with a wide variety of people who will greatly miss him.

There will be a celebration of Sean’s life Saturday, May 29th at the Danby Community Church. Visitation with the family will be 10am-12pm followed by a service and fellowship time. Please honor our request to wear a mask.

In lieu of flowers we are setting up an educational fund for Annabelle. We will provide the details for contributing directly to this fund at a future date. If you would like to contribute in the meantime please send a check to Matthew Walker (5 Puhalka Rd. Newfield, NY 14867) with a memo of “To the Educational Fund for Annabelle Norman.”
